Real-Time Seismic Intensity Display System

In the scope of the project a system has been developed for Seismic Risk Assessment and Risk Management Planning in the Republic of Armenia.

Apart from earthquakes’ investigation one of the main goals of the system is to create seismic intensity map of the city in a very short period to determine the most damaged districts of the Yerevan city in order to concentrate the key and emergency activities in those areas.

Currently the System is operated by Armenian National Survey for Seismic Protection (NSSP) and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the RA.

The System has been developed in partnership with Japan International Corporation Agency (JICA).
